I started my career as a photographer in the late 90s in and around Southern California working with several local indie and punk rock bands specializing in live music photography.
In 2003, I packed up my bags and relocated to Southeast Asia to rediscover my roots and pursue personal photography projects. During these travels, my photographic focus shifted from live music photography to social and political photojournalism. Basing myself in the Cambodian capitol of Phnom Penh for the past 5 years, I have covered various assignments for many leading Cambodian publications along with undertaking commissions for local businesses and development agencies. Most recently, I have covered the recent border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand along with the 2008 Cambodian National Elections.
As for the future, I plan to divide my time between Southeast Asia and the United States to make myself available for assignments in either region.
